MEREDITH BACHMAN
Currently I am a self-employed digital nomad exploring and designing wherever I feel most inspired. My experience includes creating user-centered visual design systems through crafting personas, scenarios, problem-solving, illustration, motion graphics, color, and a fierce love of typography.
Owning my own business has helped me hone in and shape extremely strong communication skills and good working relationships with my clients, the ability to prioritize time management, and work under tight deadlines. I am super self-motivated and enjoy solo work but also the collaboration of a team. I also have experience working for a non-profit, tech start-up, and several years at a fast-paced agency where I was able to gain management experience in a senior position.
Working for different industries has helped shape my view that good design is central in creating an experience, maintaining a brand, and most importantly, establishing a connection. I received two Bachelor of Art degrees from Indiana University in fine art and telecommunications with a concentration in marketing and management.
When not at work, I enjoy adventuring with my partner who is equally addicted to adrenaline, traveling with my dog named Salt, and learning how to sail in Croatia. We can usually be found in the mountains snowboarding, paragliding, and rock climbing, practicing yoga, or zooming around Zürich on our electric boards.
